Find cheap petrol near you

With petrol prices remaining high, this week we wanted to let you know about iGoogle’s (www.google.com/ig) new Petrol Price Tracker gadget. Login to your customisable Google homepage and add the gadget. Insert the type of fuel you’re after, specify whether you’re looking for a certain brand of service station (great if you intend to use shopping dockets), plonk in your address or postcode and the Petrol Price Tracker will display a list of all the petrol stations near you along with the price they are selling fuel for and the distance you’ll have to travel to get there. There’s sure to be a few bugs, but it’s an easy way to find out what you should be paying for petrol on any given day.
