Media centre PC set up service

Want the convenience of having your new media centre set up for you? Gizmo will come to your place and configure your media centre PC to play TV, video and music through your compatible TV and speakers saving you hours of hassle and frustration.

If required, Gizmo will also unpack your new computer and get your programs set up or your data transferred from your old computer

We will:

  • Unpack and initialize your computer for the first time
  • Connect your computer to an existing wired/wireless network
  • Configure your email program to access your email account
  • Set up your existing media centre installation (Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows Media Center Edition)
  • Connect your PC to your TV and speakers
  • Tune in your digital channels
  • Show you how to record your favourite shows.
  • If required, set up an electronic program guide (EPG) to work on your media center

And if required, either:

  • Install 2 items of hardware or software (e.g. Standard printer, Microsoft Office, Antivirus software)

OR

  • Transfer up to 8GB of data from your old computer to your new computer
